Travel Tuesday: Hog Hollow Country Lodge

We happily book guests travelling along the Garden Route into Hog Hollow Country Lodge just outside Plettenberg Bay for several reasons, the main one being that Hog Hollow always makes for happy travellers.

Hog Hollow is ideally situated on a private nature reserve on the edge of indigenous forest with views of surrounding valleys and mountains. It is a great location to explore the many attractions on the Garden Route or just relax around the pool, in your suite or on the deck.

We love the wine tastings and lunches at nearby Bramon Winery (try their sublime sparkling wine and Sauvignon Blanc), the horse rides with the Hog Hollow Horse Trails and the experience of learning so much about elephants and the local Elephant Sanctuary.

Read what our Epic Happy Travellers had to say about their stays at Hog Hollow Country Lodge:

“The best service we have ever experienced and the group dinners were a highlight of our stay.” Erin from the USA.

“Hog Hollow was a perfect ending. We just wanted was to hang out and do almost nothing. It was perfect for that. There seemed to be a lot to do if we had wanted. It’s beautiful and the food and service were quite elegant.” Kevin & Chris from the USA.
