Beach break

A great beach break was in the cards. Lucky for us it was just before the rest of the South Africa started their summer holiday so it was still nice and quiet. We enjoyed a few days in Cape St. Francis Resort and what a bliss. There are several different types of accommodation; The Club Break, the Beach Cottage or a beautiful beach Villa with private pool that walks strait onto the beach. We were in a lovely cottage with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Honestly we didn’t use the kitchen much since we enjoyed  Joe Fish restaurant to much for breakfast lunch and dinner…

The sandy beach is beautiful and rather private; there is a golf course nearby and of course we visited the nearby charming light house and penquin rehab centre. Surfing, walking, fishing canoeing are options of things to do. We can also recommend a Canal Cruise in St Francis and a stop in Jeffrey’s bay, famous for the world championships of surfing a  good option, if you want to catch the perfect wave that is.

Cape St. Francis Resort also offers a spa, several pools and a bar so if you just want to chill and hang back,  you can do that too! All together a great stop in between the Garden route and your dream African Safari in South Africa.
